Nigerian Picnic In Halifax In Honour Of Canada Day

In honour of Canada Day, Nigerians in my neighborhood organized a picnic on Monday July 3rd, 2017, which was a holiday in Canada because Canada Day was on a Saturday. We had the picnic at Sir Sandford Fleming Park. Sir Sandford Fleming Park is also known as Dingle Park which means wooded valley. We invited other Nigerian friends around Halifax and environs.

It was initially planned by our husbands as a surprise event, but they couldn’t pull off the surprise all by themselves, so they had no choice than to involve us the wives 😀 as per say women run the world nau 😀.

Anyways, we all joined forces to have a memorable event. There were loads of food, drinks, music, play, games e.t.c. It was a beautiful outing. Kudos to our men for the initiative, una too much.

Again, happy Canada Day, even though it was one month ago 😊. I actually took a month leave off blogging and active social media involvement. I wanted to enjoy most of this summer wholly plus I just wanted a break sha. Who missed me? 😊 Shout out to those who took time out to check on me and to those who thought of me, thank you very much. I really appreciate it.
