My family and I were part of the 2016 edition and it was a wonderful experience as we are still very much in touch with our match family, the awesome Allen family.

If you are a family in Nova Scotia that is eager to welcome an international student or new immigrant family for Thanksgiving dinner please sign up to be a host. We will ask you to share your location, your planned meal date and a bit about yourself.
We match you according to your date preference, location and, if possible, family characteristics like the age of your children. Matches are made in the week leading up to Thanksgiving weekend. If you have completed a form, we will do our best to make a match. You will hear from us either way, even if it is on Friday afternoon.
We introduce you to each other via email. Then typically the host contacts the guest to arrange the details.
